We are seeking to appoint a talented and committed individual in the role of Office Assistant to work within our busy, public facing front office. The varied role forms an integral part of Coram’s Fields central team, including duties such as dealing with numerous enquiries, making bookings for pitches and rooms and processing supplier orders along with some basic finance duties.
For over 80 years, Coram’s Fields has provided essential support for the children and families of Kings Cross and the surrounding neighbourhoods, through the provision of a seven acre park and delivery of a range of services including; an Under 5’s Drop In, Nursery, Out of School Club, Sports Programme and Youth Programme.
Location: Coram’s Fields, 93 Guilford Street, London, WC1N 1DN
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Hours: 9.30am – 5pm – Monday to Friday
Start date: Tuesday 29th August 2017
The successful candidate will be highly numerate and IT literate and will come with a good understanding of all Microsoft software packages including Excel, Word and Outlook.
An attention to detail will be key, as will an ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time, manage your own time effectively to ensure that you can deliver high standards whilst often working to tight deadlines.
The diverse nature of the role will see you work with a variety of individuals, ranging from; members of the public, contract suppliers and service managers. An ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form will be critical to your success.
The above skills and attributes alongside a commitment and desire to learn as you grow into the role will be of the utmost importance.
