The Marchmont Association Street Party on Saturday 22nd September, kindly held a raffle in aid of Coram’s Fields. Due to the wet weather, fewer tickets were sold than anticipated, which means we have decided to extend the time period before the winning tickets are drawn.
This means YOU still have a chance to win some fantastic prizes, courtesy of the generous contribution of local businesses:
CV Hair & Beauty – 2 Lots of either a Cut & Blow Dry or a Mini Facial.
Moroccanoil – 1 Gift Set worth £40.
Gino’s Hairdressing – Selection of men’s grooming products worth £35.
Morton Hotel – 6 bottles of Les Terraces Rose wine.
Burger & Shake – 1 meal voucher worth £30.
Elite Barbers – 1 Luxury wet shave
Mabel’s Tavern – 1 meal for two.
Gourmet Burger Kitchen – 5 Lots of GBK lunch vouchers.
A big thank you again to everyone who contributed these fabulous prizes. And of course a huge thank you to the Marchmont Association for their support of Coram’s Fields!
Raffle tickets are available to purchase on-site in the main office.
Please note that the prize draw will take place on Monday 8th October and winners will be contacted shortly after.
Brownies (ages 7-10) and Guides (ages 10-14) are based here at Coram’s Fields, so if you live nearby- this is a great opportunity for girls to go along to camps, holidays, day trips and sleepovers. They get together with their friends at regular meetings where they learn new hobbies, get creative, explore other cultures and have outdoor adventures. Older girls can challenge themselves and do new and different activities.
Coram’s Fields’ annual Fireworks Night is back this year and is even bigger and better. We are delighted that Kimbolton Fireworks, the fireworks operator for the London 2012 Olympic Games, will be delivering this year’s show. While we are keeping Fireworks Night a free event, one difference this year is that we will also be including a premium viewing zone within the park. This area is ticketed and will enable spectators who want to arrive when they want, avoid the crowds and still have the best view in the park, to enjoy the show.
We have released an allocation of Early Bird tickets, which are priced at £8 (plus booking fee). Each ticket allows one adult and up to two children under the age of 16 access to the premium viewing zone. Buy your ticket now!
8th Holborn Scout Group is a mixed youth organisation with a membership of more than 100 young people aged 6 to 14, supported by a team of volunteer leaders and assistants and based at Coram’s Fields. They have a Beaver Scout Colony for ages 6-8, a Cub Scout Pack for ages 8-10 and a Scout Troop for ages 10-14. Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. The programme varies with age, so we slowly build up to advanced camps, expeditions and adventurous activities. For information about how your child can join, please click here.
