Corporate volunteering

Corporate Volunteering

Coram’s Fields and many businesses are at the heart of the local community in Camden. We are a unique charity, providing a wealth of facilities and services including; Adventure Playgrounds, Youth Centre, Wildlife Garden, Nursery, Sports Facilities, Out of School Club and City Farm, all based on our seven-acre site in the heart of central London.

We exist solely for the benefit and wellbeing of children and young people, providing a safe and stimulating environment for their physical, emotional and cognitive development.

Taking part in our Corporate Volunteering programme can provide your company and employees with a range of benefits, which include:

  • Strengthening corporate ties to the local community and breaking down social barriers;
  • Heightening visibility through awareness-raising and media coverage;
  • Boosting staff morale, increasing job satisfaction and promoting a positive corporate culture;
  • Increasing organisational, leadership and teamwork skills.

The diversity of Coram’s Fields’ projects, services and facilities means that we are able to create and run tailored volunteering opportunities to suit the needs of most corporate employee teams. The activities we arrange can be indoors or outdoors and no prior experience is necessary.

Examples of corporate volunteering activities

Be a farmer for a day

Muck in and look after our chickens, goats and other small animals

Ground maintenance

A fresh lick of paint to keep our facilities as pristine as possible

Growing vegetables to be used in our nursery kitchen and café

Event volunteering

Help us to coordinate and run one of our community-based events

We do charge for the volunteering projects we run, but funds raised are used to further support the work of Coram’s Fields, meaning that your contribution will continue to improve the lives of children and young people beyond the time you spend with us.
