Sports Development Programme

Our community Sports Programme is only permitted to work on a one to one basis during the current lockdown. We are looking at how we can support those children and young people most in need of support through a programme of one to one, weekly bookable sessions. For more general information on our sports programme, please contact our Head of Youth and Sport, Naz Deen at

To keep up to date with our plans, please sign up to our mailing list here – We will also be updating this page and our TwitterFacebook and Instagram pages with regular updates.

Our sports programme offers free sports activities for young people aged 3-19 years during term-time and the school holidays and is open to young people whatever their ability. Our football pitches and basketball courts offer some of the best facilities in London for young people and our diverse activity programme means that there’s something for everyone Drop in sessions and regular competitive (and slightly less competitive) tournaments ensure that young people have the opportunity to showcase their talent, meet new friends, build their confidence and broaden their horizons.

For many young people, our programme will give them their first opportunity to play sport and in particular introduce them to new sports that they may never have known existed. To book a place, please contact the Sport Development Officer (contact details below). In addition to the above, we host one of the biggest youth football leagues for under 16s in Camden, bringing together young people from across the borough to play together in a season long campaign from September-March. If you work with young people aged 13-16 years and are interested in registering a team, please contact our sports team, details of which you can find below.

The Camden Youth League takes place every Saturday morning from 9am – 1pm for Under 8’s – 12’s. Organised and structured football matches with qualified referees.
