Location:                  Coram’s Fields, London, WC1N 1DN

Salary:                       Up to £27,500 p.a. depending on experience

Hours                         40 hrs per week (hours may vary at certain points during the year)

Contract                   Permanent

 

Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual to take the lead in re-launching and running the café facility at Coram’s Fields, a unique children’s park and playground, in the heart of Bloomsbury, London

Coram’s Fields is a large seven-acre open space for children, young people and their families, with facilities comprising large grassed areas and play-spaces, sports pitches and several children’s and youth services. It is a vibrant and diverse venue with a real sense of community and visitor numbers vary from several hundred every day to many thousands at large scale events.

We are looking for a hands-on, well organised, customer facing person, experienced in the café and restaurant sector, who enjoys creating a welcoming environment in which you take pride. You will build a small, well trained, flexible and motivated team of assistants to help you provide great customer service, meeting fluctuations in demand according to seasons, weather, park activities and events. There will also be opportunities to develop a new catering service to users of various venues within the complex
