The Emergency Continues
The Covid-19 crisis has forced us to turn to our community for vital support, in a way we’ve never needed to before.
The generosity of people and organisations in our community has helped Coram’s Fields to be resilient through the pandemic so far. By donating, fundraising and helping us to spread the word about our Emergency Appeal you have helped raised crucial emergency funding to help keep our park, playgrounds and services open for those who rely on us most. Thank you.
Our community has done so much already. But the emergency continues.
As we continue to remain open, our facilities and services will continue to be a lifeline for the children, young people and families who need us.
Whilst we are so proud to remain open, we face the huge ongoing costs of running our seven-acre site without being able to raise essential funds due to the national restrictions. Every day, we miss out on around £1,500 in income from not being able to hire our football pitches and our halls. Our pitches are our single biggest source of income, and this is a critical loss.
We have been able to significantly reduce our expenditure to help protect ourselves, including utilising the Government’s furlough scheme. We have raised further emergency funds through Trusts and Foundations, but we continue to face devastating losses into the future.
We are doing all we can, but we still need all the help we can get. Please help your community through this crisis by donating to our Emergency Appeal today.
If you have already supported us, thank you so much. People you know may want to support Coram’s Fields too. Please share our Appeal with friends or on social media.
