Coram's Fields is a unique seven acre playground and park for children and young people living in or visiting London.
It includes a Youth Centre, Children's Centre, Community Nursery, Sports Programme, a city farm and a cafe which is open from March until October.
The park is open all year round from 9am until dusk and is free and open to children and young people under 16. No adult can enter Coram's Fields without a child and our friendly on-site staff ensure that everyone can enjoy their visit. You can find Coram's Fields in the heart of London between King's Cross and Holborn.
Coram's Fields is a charity and we can only offer wonderful activities for children and young people as a result of donations and fundraising activities. Entrance to the park is free and all activities provided by the Youth Centre, Children's Centre and Sports Programme are FREE OF CHARGE.
Please note that Coram's Fields is not part of the Coram group of charities which includes the Thomas Coram Centre.
Please watch the video below about Coram's Fields.
Following a period of expansion we have created a new role for a Chief Operating Officer who will oversee the core operational functions of the charity including contracts, facilities management and grounds maintenance, capital projects, office management, human resources, finance, and the development of our corporate and park volunteering programmes.
We have been working in partnership with Farrer Huxley Associates and Birds Portchmouth Russum Architects to develop a Master Plan for Coram's Fields. We are now at the second stage of consultation and would welcome your comments on the plans, which are attached below. Please note that as this represents the development of a Master Plan specific pieces of play equipment are not yet included.
We displayed the boards within Coram's Fields but if you missed the chance to comment you can see the plans in the attached document
Coram’s Fields will be working in partnership with Nuffield Health Gym (Guildford Street) to start a new and exciting Gym Project after the Easter holidays. This will be FREE of charge for all 16-19 year olds.
