Youth Centre - Music

The youth centre has a modern state-of-the-art music studio, with the latest performance, recording and editing equipment and software, including a sound booth.

We currently offer three music sessions per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm-7pm. Young people can perform, record and write their own music, songs and lyrics, produce albums and music videos, learn about the whole of the music industry and how to make those important connections.

All the music sessions and courses are open access and young people can come along and take part whether just for the enjoyment of creating music, to gain a qualification or with a view to a career or professional music performance and production.

Young people can also take part in some of the project work at Coram's Fields and work with local artists and organisations to contribute to a multi-media production. Examples of this include work with the London Transport Museum, The Wellcome Foundation and the current "Cut It Out" project with the October Gallery.
