Youth Centre - IT/Web
The IT Suite at the youth centre has three Apple Macs and 16 PCs with a range of software including industry standard applications and tools. We also have a range of photographic and video equipment, printers, scanners and projectors.
We currently offer IT sessions five days per week. The sessions range from after school/college course work sessions, open access IT, courses leading to national qualifications in IT, creative IT using Photoshop, video, music and design and specialist project work.
Website project
Young people are currently in the process of learning the skills to build the youth centre section of the Coram's Fields website. As part of this process young people will gain skills and qualifications, learn to work as part of a team, gain an understanding of site protocols, all using modern equipment and software. Although this project is underway young people can join and contribute to the project at any time as it will be an on-going project.
