Coram's Fields is a unique seven acre playground and park for children and young people living in or visiting London.

It includes a Youth Centre, Children's Centre, Community Nursery, Sports Programme, a city farm and a cafe which is open from March until October.

The park is open all year round from 9am until dusk and is free and open to children and young people under 16. No adult can enter Coram's Fields without a child and our friendly on-site staff ensure that everyone can enjoy their visit. You can find Coram's Fields in the heart of London between King's Cross and Holborn.

Coram's Fields is a charity and we can only offer wonderful activities for children and young people as a result of donations and fundraising activities. Entrance to the park is free and all activities provided by the Youth Centre, Children's Centre and Sports Programme are FREE OF CHARGE.

Please note that Coram's Fields is not part of the Coram group of charities which includes the Thomas Coram Centre.

Please watch the video below about Coram's Fields.

Response to online petition

You may have seen a very alarming online petition claiming that “Corams is increasingly renting all of its facilities to adults, completely disregarding the needs of children… that children and youngsters are effectively turned away - and adults are playing instead of them!!”

On behalf of the Trustees I’d just like to clarify that this is completely inaccurate and untrue. Please be assured that our Trustees and staff are fully committed and working very hard to maintain the Coram’s Fields legacy as a haven for play for children.

Coram's Fields Master Plan

We have been working in partnership with Farrer Huxley Associates and Birds Portchmouth Russum Architects to develop a Master Plan for Coram's Fields.

You can see the wonderful plans in the attached document, which include new sports courts, a rockery adventure area, water play fountains, a welcome pavilion and the relocation of the cafe to the Harmsworth Memorial Pavilion.

We are currently fundraising to bring these plans to life, and it would be fantastic to have the support of the local community!

Important Reminder - No dogs or bikes

Please be aware that no dogs or bikes are allowed in the park. This is for the safety of the children and young people who use our playground and other services.

Please note we are reconstructing a new website which will be launched Spring 2015

If you have any comments or suggestions for our new site please contact us info@coramsfields.org.uk

Thank you for your patience with the old site as we concentrate on redeveloping the new one!
